Women’s Leadership Team

The Women’s Leadership Team will be a community of powerful women trained and supported by IPJC to animate and lead a diverse coalition of Catholics working toward tangible systemic change in our Church and communities.

Benefits of being involved:

1. Multi-day training in faith-based community organizing, Catholic Social Teaching, and synodality
2. Spiritual and relational nourishment in community with other women animated by their faith
3. Develop and hone organizing and relational skills applicable to all parts of your life!
4. Lead a powerful coalition of individuals living their faith in action
5. Access to spiritual direction

Overview of Commitment/Requirements

1. Live within Archdiocese of Seattle
2. Catholic or familiar and comfortable in Catholic spaces
3. Over the age of 18
4. Ability to commit to an initial 1-year commitment (late August 2026-August 2027) with the opportunity to renew after 1-year
5. Availability for weekend training in last August/September. Dates TBD.
6. Ability to contribute approximately 7-10 hours/month for virtual team meetings, relational 1-1 meetings and house meetings that you will plan and organize within your own community, and check-ins with IPJC staff. Some months may have more commitments and others less. Most hours will be scheduled by you according to your availability.

El Equipo de Liderazgo Femenino

El Equipo de Liderazgo Femenino será una comunidad de mujeres poderosas formadas y apoyadas por IPJC para animar y liderar una coalición diversa de católicos que trabajan por un cambio sistémico tangible en nuestra Iglesia y nuestras comunidades.

Beneficios:

1. Formación de varios días en organización comunitaria basada en la fe, Doctrina Social Católica y sinodalidad
2. Apoyo espiritual y relacional en comunidad con otras mujeres animadas por su fe
3. ¡Desarrolla y perfecciona habilidades organizativas y relacionales aplicables a todas las áreas de tu vida!
4. Liderar una poderosa coalición de personas que vivan su fe en acción
5. Acceso a la dirección espiritual

Resumen del compromiso/ Requisitos

1. 1. Vivir dentro de la Arquidiócesis de Seattle
   2. Católico o familiar y cómoda en espacios católicos
   3. Compromiso inicial de 1 año con la oportunidad de extender
   4. Disponibilidad para formación en persona durante un fin de semana a finales de agosto o septiembre de 2026. Fechas por determinar.
   5. Capacidad para contribuir aproximadamente 7-10 horas al mes para reuniones virtuales de equipo, reuniones relacionales 1-1 y en grupos pequeños dentro de tu propia comunidad y reuniones con el personal de IPJC. Algunos meses pueden tener más compromisos y otros menos. La mayoría de las horas las programarás según tu disponibilidad.
